ANİM 207-3D Modelling
The course, which can be counted as a beginning to design in 3D environment is important to get used to the interface of
the Autodesk Maya program and to learn the basics of modeling. First of all, the interface of the program should be introduced and
then the modeling tools should be shown and how a simple object can be designed in 3D environment should be taught. Low poly
human should be designed as a cartoon character, then a low poly animal can be designed. The design of a model with topology
suitable for rigging and texture should be shown to the students. Then, a realistic human face should be modeled and continued with
a realistic human anatomy modeling.
