The course is about supporting students' professional work through academic thinking. In this framework, scientific research is defined, the methods of obtaining scientific knowledge, experiments and observation concepts are explained. Positive and normative theories and objective and subjective systems of knowledge are introduced; The meaning of science in academic and social contexts is mentioned. The scientific and artistic qualities of the design activity are discussed.
