In Ph.D Seminar course, students make research for a Ph.D thesis that may contribute to the fields of public relations and advertising under the supervision of their advisors. Also, this course includes individual meetings of the students with their thesis advisors about the research and readings for the Qualifying Exam.

This course is designed to examine the effect of the movement of thought, also known as critical theory developed around ?Frankfurt School? in the 1930s, on the critical perspectives within the scope of management and organization. In the international arena, the existence of the critical studies within the scope of management and organization are firstly based on Marx and Weber's theories in terms of the classical theories. Critical based different epistemological and ontological assumptions of Critical Management Studies (FYR) will be discussed in this course from the classical theories to the present day, mainly the Frankfurt School and later ?critical perspectives? affected by continental philosophy will be examined in a broader sense and as a whole to include FYR. Subjects of introducing instrumental use of knowledge; questioning of the concepts that are accepted natural and considered as if there is no alternative; the awareness of the researcher about what kind of role he has on the current issues and revealing the structures of domination will be discussed in relation with studies of management and organization of critical tradition as having four emphasis.

This class works the subjects related to the importance of marketing oriented perspective in companies and how to come to the forefront in the marketing struggle with integrated marketing strategies introduced with the ways to integrate it to whole structure.

First of all, the concept of strategy and its importance from the point of integrated marketing, basic factors those are effective on marketing sense will be examined, integrated marketing sense, the development process, organizational communication of integrated marketing, functions, and customer reflections, and finally integrated marketing strategies will be evaluated and assessments on them will be carried out and innovation emerging on the market and company with integrated marketing management will be focused.

The structure, functioning and fundamental roles of the Constitutional Court will be examined while also the types of control that the Court applies will be evaluated.

The structures of the taxes levied on income, capital and expenses in Turkish Tax System, the subject and tax payer of the taxes such as income tax, corporate tax, real estate tax, value added tax, private consumption tax, custom duty, acts causing taxes, new tendencies about these taxes and implementations in European Union shall be analyzed comparatively

Basic taxation principles, taxation efficiency, reflection, tax burden and effort, taxation of income, capital and consumption, modern tax policies, actual problems of Turkish tax policies, new tendencies at income, corporate and value added taxes shall be analyzed.

The aim of the course is to provide information about international criminal law in theory and practice. To do so, a brief information concerning the theory of international criminal law; individual criminal responsibility as a subject of international law, international criminal judicial institutions such as the ad hoc tribunals (The UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, The UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, The UN International Residual Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals) and the International Criminal Court; international crimes (war crimes, the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression); the case law of such institutions will be examined.

The constitution of European Court of Justice, its judicial power and the authority will be examined underlying the scope of law texts that is being used for judgements.

The aim of this course is to explain the problem identification and solution methods in business processes and logistics operations. Topics covered in the course include supply chain function and components, optimization of logistics, linear programming, graphical analysis, sensitivity analysis, transportation problem models, methods, assignment problems, Hungarian algorithm, integer programming, network modeling, dynamic modeling.

The aim of this course is to provide in-depth information on the basic principles and theories of decisions made at the strategic and tactical level of supply chain design. Topics covered in the course include supply chain function and components, supply chain network design goals, constraints used in supply chain network design, design decisions, location decision, gravity location models, distribution networks, linear programming, transfer problems, network optimization models.

The aim of this course is to teach the students the new and dynamic concept of urban logistics operation management. . The main topics are transportation, logistics and supply chain concepts, the importance of urban logistics, definition and scope of the parties and elements of urban logistics, logistics and transport sector in Turkey to address issues related to urban to transportation, urban logistics practices, logistics centers, characteristics of logistics centers and classification, organize logistics regions.

The aim of this course is to enable students to learn how to find new markets, new suppliers, how to create efficient and reliable cooperations with different national cultures. The main topics are the topics of global trade, firms involved in international business, growth strategies of SMEs, political and legal systems in the world, global business cultures, international trade and investment theories, intervention of states in international affairs, regional economic integration, international markets, , global resource use, mergers and acquisitions.

The aim of this course is to explain the basic features of storage and distribution centers and design methods. The aim of the course is to explain to the students the concepts related to the analysis, planning and control of production systems. Topics covered in the course include production and inventory management, operational stages in production systems, resource allocation, demand forecasting methods, capacity planning, integrated production planning, analysis of independent and dependent demand inventory management, lean production, industrial production and procurement, implementation and control.

The aim of this course is to give information about the preparation of doctoral thesis to students. Within the scope of the course, the thesis preparation principles, problem determination, method selection, analysis methods are covered.

The qualifying exam consists of two steps, written and oral. In order to continue the program, students must successfully pass on both stages.

Students who are that are succesful at the qualifying exam, propose their thesis that are suitable to scientific and ethical.
