To do so, a brief information concerning the theory of international criminal law; individual criminal responsibility as a subject of international law, international criminal judicial institutions such as the ad hoc tribunals (The UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, The UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, The UN International Residual Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals) and the International Criminal Court; international crimes (war crimes, the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression); the case law of such institutions will be examined.
