Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to examine the legal infrastructure of certain issues brought about by the development of information technologies and the globalization of commercial activities. Within the scope of this course,ubjects such as the technological and legal infrastructure of e-commerce, service provider, intermediary service provider, trust stamp, electronic signature, commercial electronic messages will be examined. In this context, the intersection areas of personal data protection law, consumer law, commercial law and law of obligations and e-commerce will be emphasized. Basically, the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and secondary legislation will be examined.

Video games increase its share in the entertainment industry year over year. The necessity to protect intellectual property rights has been felt in the video game industry and has gained a serious importance as the industry reaches a serious economic size. Moreover, tournaments organized for competitive games increase the number of viewers day by day and attract the attention of both investors and players as a new sector. With the increasing interest in electronic sport day by day, various legal problems are encountered such as the rules under which tournaments will be organized, the rules that will regulate the bets made for the tournaments, what will be the relationship between the players participating in the tournaments and the team managers. Within the scope of the course, the legal issues mentioned above will be discussed.

Within the scope of this course, the law on protection of personal data, which is included in the concept of protecting privacy of private life, will be examined in detail. Information will be given on the right to request protection of personal data and the limits of this right. In this regard, the Constitution in particular, the Law on Protection of Personal Data, relevant legislative regulations and case law will be examined in Turkish law. In terms of comparative law, international conventions, especially EU regulations and regulations and jurisprudence made in member countries and USA will be guided.

Within the scope of the course, issues such as incorporation, financing, intellectual property, risk analysis and exit that a business established with the goal of high growth may encounter during its life cycle will be discussed from a legal perspective.

Within the scope of this course, the place of the patent within the industrial property rights, the concept of invention, the conditions of patentability, the inventor and his rights, the patent application and registration, the limits of the patent right and the expiration of the right will be examined. The Industrial Property Law No. 6769, the Commercial Law No. 6102 and the regulations regarding patent protection in the secondary legislation will be discussed. In addition to national norms in the field of patent law, comparative international norms will also be mentioned.

Within the scope of this course, the concept of intellectual property, the expanding scope of the concept of intellectual property depending on technological developments, the nature of the work, the types of works, the ownership of the work, the material and moral rights, legal and penal sanctions that may arise in case of violation of the rights arising from the ownership of the work, the limits of the rights of the author, the contracts dealing with the intellectual and artistic works, the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846 and the regulations on copyright in the secondary legislation enacted accordingly will be examined.

The rapid and continuous change and development in technology, the widespread use of internet infrastructure, the fact that the pandemic encouraged the digitalization and the importance of data in the digital environment has led to the rapid growth of digital markets. The point that digital markets have reached economically has made it necessary to examine digital markets within the scope of competition law, as in every other field of law. In this course, digital markets will be evaluated within the framework of the general principles and elements of competition law.

With the development of technology and digitalization, intellectual and industrial products continue to be created in digital environments, and physical products continue to be rapidly transferred to digital environments. In this course, what intellectual and industrial property crimes are, the legal elements of these crimes, how and how often these crimes are encountered in practice, and the possible sanctions and penalties of these crimes will be examined in detail from the perspective of legal axis of both classical law approach and information and technology law.

As the technology and digitalization transform commerce, progress of electronic commerce accelerated. With the acceleration of electronic commerce payment systems have also changed and developed. This course aims to explore the unique types of unfair competition that arise within digital media and electronic commerce. Students will gain foundational knowledge to understand competitive challenges specific to digital environments and analyze relevant legal regulations and court rulings. The course will cover case studies on unfair competition practices in internet and social media platforms, with a focus on issues such as data privacy, deceptive advertising, and the ethical boundaries of online commerce. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to develop legal solutions addressing businesses; unlawful attempts to maintain a competitive edge in digital settings.

Within the scope of this course, the basic methodological approaches used in scientific studies, ethical issues in scientific research will be examined and the rules of preparing articles and writing a thesis in the graduate field will be discussed.

The structure, functioning and fundamental roles of the Constitutional Court will be examined while also the types of control that the Court applies will be evaluated.

The aim of this course is to evaluate in detail the contemporary conflicts in the international law. In this context, especially the international law problems of Turkey will be examined in the legal framework.

In the course, it is planned to discuss the characteristics of the technology that makes the emergence of crypto assets possible, the production of crypto assets, the first offering, the legal transactions made in this process, the legal status and legal situation of crypto asset service providers from a private law perspective.

In this seminar, it is mainly analyzed the major problems arising out of application of the new Labor Law No: 4857 after its coming into effect. During the seminar, some legal institutions, most of which are new to Turkish labor law, such as the institution of the subcontract work, flexible working styles, new working modalities having non-conventional working hours will be discussed respectively. The legal institution of testamentary disposition which is also known as ?succession by will? and legal issues arising from this institution are the main subjects of this seminar. Testamentary dispositions, that branches off in two forms, as testament and contract of succession, is also subject to different dispositions on its merits. In this seminar, legal issues (particularly arising from practice) which are related to the form and merits of testamentary dispositions will be discussed and recent academic approaches and case law will be studied

Assignment aims to teach the techniques of thesisi writing and graduate.

Objective of this course is to make learners study and introduce joint stock companies with changes made in 6102 Nr. New Turkish Commercial Code. General provisions of joint stock companies, altering the articles of joint stock company, proper alteration, preemptive right, capital increase and decrease, share paper, securities, perpetual bonds, completion and liquidation of joint stock company and one-person corporations will be discussed.

The aim of the course is to learn the basic concepts related to good law and obligation law, the immovables and the most frequent cases of immovables in practise and to evalute judicial decisions and scientific opinions.
