Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to examine the legal infrastructure of certain issues brought about by the development of information technologies and the globalization of commercial activities. Within the scope of this course,ubjects such as the technological and legal infrastructure of e-commerce, service provider, intermediary service provider, trust stamp, electronic signature, commercial electronic messages will be examined. In this context, the intersection areas of personal data protection law, consumer law, commercial law and law of obligations and e-commerce will be emphasized. Basically, the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and secondary legislation will be examined.

Within the scope of this course, the law on protection of personal data, which is included in the concept of protecting privacy of private life, will be examined in detail. Information will be given on the right to request protection of personal data and the limits of this right. In this regard, the Constitution in particular, the Law on Protection of Personal Data, relevant legislative regulations and case law will be examined in Turkish law. In terms of comparative law, international conventions, especially EU regulations and regulations and jurisprudence made in member countries and USA will be guided.

Day by day, artificial intelligence is developing and finds more and more place in human life. Especially with the widespread use of autonomous vehicles, the necessity of addressing artificial intelligence in terms of the most basic concepts of law will arise. Within the framework of the related course, the concept of artificial intelligence will be examined from a legal perspective with its complex problems. Within this scope, legal problems such as right ownership and liability arising from artificial intelligence will be discussed, and possible regulations will be discussed by considering ethical issues.

The rapid and continuous change and development in technology, the widespread use of internet infrastructure, the fact that the pandemic encouraged the digitalization and the importance of data in the digital environment has led to the rapid growth of digital markets. The point that digital markets have reached economically has made it necessary to examine digital markets within the scope of competition law, as in every other field of law. In this course, digital markets will be evaluated within the framework of the general principles and elements of competition law.

With the gradual development of technology, financial Technologies have become more and more preferred. As the technology and digitalization transform commerce, progress of electronic commerce accelerated. With the acceleration of electronic commerce payment systems have also changed and developed. Accordingly relevant regulations have been made for digital banks and service model banking and the crucial process of change has started with financial institutions giving them the ooportunity to authenticate and conclude contracts in the digital environment in this course digital banks and service model banking will be discussed from a legal perspective

This course aims to explore the unique types of unfair competition that arise within digital media and electronic commerce. Students will gain foundational knowledge to understand competitive challenges specific to digital environments and analyze relevant legal regulations and court rulings. The course will cover case studies on unfair competition practices in internet and social media platforms, with a focus on issues such as data privacy, deceptive advertising, and the ethical boundaries of online commerce. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to develop legal solutions addressing businesses; unlawful attempts to maintain a competitive edge in digital settings.

Within the scope of this course, the basic methodological approaches used in scientific studies, ethical issues in scientific research will be examined and the rules of preparing articles and writing a thesis in the graduate field will be discussed.

Objective of this course is to make learners study the main reasons behind capital increases in
joint stock companies and introduce them the changes in provisions of 6102 Nr. New Turkish
Commercial Code governing capital increases.

Turkey, a well-known emerging market, has also drawn attention in international financial circles, with its various stock markets. In order to keep pace with the financial world in which not only economists but also legal professionals have an important place, legal professionals should have a good command of capital market law. In this context, this seminar aims to provide information about the importance, benefits, obligations, rights and privileges of joint stock companies, in particular public joint stock companies and legislation regarding public joint stock companies, as well as to show relations between joint stock companies and stock market concept and stock market types.

In this seminar, it is mainly analyzed the major problems arising out of application of the new Labor Law No: 4857 after its coming into effect. During the seminar, some legal institutions, most of which are new to Turkish labor law, such as the institution of the subcontract work, flexible working styles, new working modalities having non-conventional working hours will be discussed respectively. The seminar will be held with interactive suggestions of participants and discussions, when looking for possible solutions to legal problems.
