This course covers writing in four parts, basic cadences such as perfect cadence, imperfect cadence and harmonization of chant in the root position with diatonic triads.

As a following course of Harmony-I is based on to comprehend the connection rules of functions. This course covers harmonization of chant within first inversions of diatonic triads, cadences (plagal cadence, interrupted cadence) and harmonic analysis.
