PAL 502-Multidimensional Patient Assessment in Palliative Care
The main aim of multi-dimensional patient assessment is to determine how we can help the patient and to plan the necessary interventions. In this course, the way of an effective evaluation and the anamnesis receiving method about history of the patient, lifestyle, family, disease symptoms and physical (pain, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, etc.), psychological (anxiety, depression, etc.) and social problems will be explained.

PAL 503-Symptom Management in Palliative Care
In individuals with advanced disease, many symptoms affecting all organ systems can be found together and these symptoms can be changed at every stage of the disease. In this course, the evaluation and the intervention of the most common symptoms such as pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue and anxiety will be discussed

PAL 504-Family And Caregivers in Palliative Care
Supporting the family and caregivers and eliminating the burden of care is one of the primary objectives of palliative care practices. In this course, the aims of family support in palliative care, objective load dimensions, factors that affect caregiving burden, factors affecting caregiving request, evaluation of readiness to care and factors related to caregiver's quality of life will be explained.
